This is my most recent project on cell phone use of college kids in social situations. Each of these scenes depicts a social situation where I tried to capture genuine cell phone usage without staging any of these. I tried to leave it up to the viewer to create their own feeling on the use of cell phones in social situations. What did surprise me is the sheer magnitude of kids who do it and don’t think twice about it, including myself.

My newest art project! What do you guys think?

This is the sculpture I made last year for a dear friend. The sculpture is made up of the word friend in 6 or 7 different languages. The letters or characters for each “friend” is split up and interspersed like my friends are. The colors are very significant each word for friend is painted a different color not only representing the color of the country or countries the language comes from, but also representing the individualism that each friend brings. Lastly, I used different fonts and sizes for the words so that it showed how each friend is special to me in their own way. Tell me what you think?
